At Perfect Skin & Lash, we use medical grade numbing ointment to ensure you are comfortable through the entire process.
What is the downtime?
The great news is that with the use of stem cells, redness is reduced substantially. Most people will see reduced redness 10-12 hours post procedure. Women can wear makeup 18-24 hours after their completed service.
Some people do experience peeling but this is dependent on the client and their circumstances.
How often can I get microneedling?
Depending on your specific goals, we recommend once every 4 weeks with a series of 2-6 sessions. Again, everyone is different and some may require more than others.
For those with deeper scarring or wrinkles, we would typically recommend 4-6 sessions, spaced out 4 weeks apart.
It's very important to remember that microneedling is not a quick fix. It causes controlled damage to the skin, therefore, the skin MUST heal. People oftentimes notice changes over a period of months.
